(Islip Terrace, NY), (September 26, 2009) - The newly formed JOLT (Jaws of Life Tournament) Team from Islip Terrace competes in the 16th annual JOLT tournament held in Ridge at the Town of Brookhaven Fireman's Park.
The team completed their evolution in a respectable time of 7 minutes and 2 seconds (7:02). However newcomer mistakes and inexperience in JOLT competition added 3 minutes in penalties, which brought them to an official time of 10 minutes 2 seconds (10:02); eliminating them after the first round of competition.
The teams' goal was to complete the evolution, post a good time, and to learn from the first time out. Although eliminated it was a positive experience for all, who are looking forward to competing next year.
